A través de su cuenta en Twitter, @DONOMAR, el cantante puertorriqueño Don Omar, anunció la cancelación de su gira por Canadá.
Se conoció de manera oficial que la compañía que maneja al cantante canceló la gira, alegando irresponsabilidad por parte de los organizadores en Canadá
A través de un comunicado los representantes de Don Omar informaron las razones por las cuales la gira fue suspendida.
Las personas que adquirieron boletos para los conciertos de este viernes 7 en Toronto y del día 8 de octubre en la ciudad de Montreal, deberán dirigirse a los lugares de venta para el respectivo reembolso del dinero.

FOR IMMEDATE RELEASE:

The Relentless Consulting Corp, on behalf of its client, William Omar Landron pka “Don Omar”, is hereby giving notice to anyone who has purchased a ticket(s) for the upcoming performances at The Powerade Center in Toronto, Canada on October 7th, 2016 and at The Amphitheatre de Verdun in Montreal, Canada on Saturday October 8th, 2016, that because of several major material breaches in the agreement(s) with the venues and us by Martha Lopez, Edouard Bana Floridores and/or Musical Rhythms Promotions, these performances have been cancelled.
Martha Lopez, Edouard Bana Florides and/or Musical Rhythms Promotions on several occasions were notified by us that they were in major breach of the contract(s). The Artist had asked Relentless Consulting Corp. to “try” to find a way to give the above more time to comply with, and fix, the issues that were arising because of their non-compliance, negligence and irresponsibility. For several weeks we gave Martha Lopez, Edouard Bana Florides and/or Musical Rhythms Promotions more time to resolve these problems, but we realized that we were being manipulated and lied to.
As explained to the Artist, as of this writing, Martha Lopez, Edouard Bana Florides and/or Musical Rhythms Promotions have lost all credibility not in part because of the following:
– They issued to us several “bad” checks that were “returned insufficient funds” (attached) – Continuously lied that they were and/or had made good on the payments.
– As of today (Oct. 5th, 2017) they have NOT purchased the airline tickets for the Artist and the majority of the crew (which because of the impending hurricane there are no spaces available to accommodate us on a flight).
– They have not sent us the confirmation that the hotels have been paid for – Their production manager has notified us that they can NOT confirm that the appropriate, sound, lights, video, effects, etc….. – required to put on the performance – will be available, because the suppliers have NOT been paid.
– We were informed by the Powerade Center that they were cancelling the performance because Martha Lopez, Edouard Bana Florides and/or Musical Rhythms Promotions were in serious breach of the agreement with them
– Several other issues that are to many to mention.
The Artist, Don Omar, had the news of this cancelation informed to him via social media. All the while, Don Omar had asked Relentless Consulting to “please find a way to make these shows happen. I haven’t been to Toronto or Montreal in years and the feed back is that tickets sales were great and I do not want to let down my fans”.
Even until today (Oct. 5th, 2016) we were calling and waiting for many unanswered and unresolved issues to be taken care of, but were getting “little” communication and even “less” cooperation from Martha Lopez, Edouard Bana Florides and/or Musical Rhythms Promotions.
On behalf of the Artist, Don Omar, we would like to convey the enormous regret that the irresponsibility of Martha Lopez, Edouard Bana Florides and/or Musical Rhythms Promotions have created that has force the venue(s) to cancel the event and by default, makes it impossible for the Artist to present his show(s). We sincerely apologize and regret the inconvenience the presenters may have caused any and all of Don Omar’s fans.
It is suggested that all ticket holders contact the proper ticketing outlets for a full and complete refund.
